If you’ve never been to the Chandler Chamber Ostrich Festival, you’re missing out on a truly unique Arizona experience. The Steve LeVine Entertainment and Public Relations crew had a wonderful time working what turned out to be another hugely successful festival, complete with a stellar lineup of live musical acts, exotic animals, exciting attractions, thrilling rides and delicious eats.

The world’s largest bird, the ostrich, is truly the star of the Ostrich Festival (hence the name). The festival allowed people to get up close and personal with the amazing animals who never shy away from a photo op. Ostrich lovers were also able to see which ostrich would take the crown as the fastest at the ostrich races. The festival also featured pigs, camels, goats, ponies, zebras and much more. The ultimate pop star battle took place during the pig race when “Lindsey Loham” raced “Kevin Bacon.”

Guests were also able to meet and greet the wildly popular “Hatchimals” characters and even enter for a chance to take home one of this season’s most popular toys.

Anticipation brewed on Friday night as concert-goers awaited the performance of AZ natives, Gin Blossoms and a 90’s favorite, Spin Doctors. The two bands did not disappoint as they delivered incredible performances that were enhanced by a sense of 90’s nostalgia. The following evening brought two acts that had the audience on their feet the entire time. The band who “built this city on rock and roll,” Starship feat. Mickey Thomas and the incredibly talented Eddie Money electrified the stage during Saturday night’s festivities. Closing out the festival on Sunday were teen heartthrobs, Forever in Your Mind and the Grammy award-winning band, Los Lobos.

For those who love adventure, the festival had an exciting lineup of thrilling rides. Many guests enjoyed the beloved, “Zipper” and Ferris wheels. Once the riders worked up an appetite, they could feast on huge turkey legs, spiraled potatoes on a stick, deep fried Twinkies and much more.

Most of all, the 29th Annual Chandler Chamber Ostrich Festival brought together families and friends for a weekend of wholesome entertainment filled with thrills, laughs and even a few screams. This year’s #OstrichFest was one for the books, and we cannot wait to do it all again next year!
