The first ever WAKE UP CALL music festival will be taking over W Scottsdale Friday, September 30 through Sunday, October 2. Gear up to turn up at an exciting concert scene featuring top artists. This weekend will include performances throughout the hotel, afternoon pool parties on the WET Deck, a morning FUEL fitness event with rockstar-inspired cardio drumming workout, and POUND complete with mimosas and pressed juice bar. In addition, you can receive nail and makeup touchups at the Bliss Spa pop-ups. VIP Lounges will also be available and much more!
Friday, September 30: Cee Lo Green (DJ Set), De La Soul, Lost Frequencies
The American singer, songwriter, record producer, actor, and businessman, Cee Lo Green will be kicking off the WAKE UP CALL weekend with an amped up DJ set. He performed for President Barack Obama at a campaign fundraiser where he sang his popular song “F**k You.” The single also reached the top spot in the UK and Netherlands and hit the No. 2 spot on the US Billboard Hot 100.
That same night, American hip-hop trio, De La Soul will be hitting the stage. The group’s 2015 album, Anonymous Nobody features artists such as Damon, Albarn, Little Dragon, David Byrne and 2 Chainz.
Additionally, Belgian DJ and record producer, Lost Frequencies will be bringing his mixes to the stage. His remix of Easton Corbin’s “Are You With Me” topped Belgium’s Ultratop chart in 2015 and reached the No. 2 spot on the Walloon chart.
Saturday, October 1: Bebe Rexha, Cheat Codes, Jess Glynne, Vintage Culture, Mike Posner
Albanian-American singer, songwriter and record producer, Bebe Rexha will be appearing on the second day of the music festival. She has been featured on several Billboard Hot 100 songs, including David Guetta’s “Hey Mama” and G-Eazy’s “Me, Myself & I.” The songwriter also co-wrote Eminem and Rhianna’s single, “The Monster”.
From Los Angeles, California, electronic music band Cheat Codes will bring their anthem house music to the stage. The band has become very popular for their 2016 single “Sex,” which features the chorus from the song “Let’s Talk About Sex”.
The amazing lineup continues as WAKE UP CALL welcomes English singer and songwriter, Jess Glynne. She was featured on Clean Bandit’s Grammy Award-Winning single “Rather Be” and her solo single, “Right Here” reached the top ten on the UK Singles Chart in 2014.
Lukas Ruiz, known as Vintage Culture, is a Brazilian DJ and producer who will also be joining the music festival lineup. The self taught artist is known for his unique, deep house, nu disco style. He began releasing music in 2013, and he released his most recent EP, “What U Want Remixes,” earlier this year.
Mike Posner will also appear on the Wake Up Call stage Saturday night. As a singer, songwriter and record producer, Posner has peaked in the top 10 charts in 27 different countries around the world with his remix of his 2015 single, “I Took a Pill in Ibiza.” He has co-wrote numerous songs for well-known artists such as Maroon 5, Justin Bieber, Pharrell Williams, Big Sean, Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa.
Sunday, October 2: Kungs, Matoma, Mayer Hawthorne, Nico & Vinz
Valentin Brunel AKA Kungs will be performing on the last day of WAKE UP CALL.
The French DJ is also a record producer and musician whose collaboration with Cookin’ titled “This Girl” peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart this year.
Norweigian DJ and tropical house record producer, Matoma, will also be performing on Sunday. His Remix of “Old Thing Back” by The Notorious B.I.G. reached No. 1 on the music blog aggregator, Hype Machine, and peaked at No. 2 on the official Norwegian singles chart, VG-lista.
Grammy nominated singer, producer, songwriter, arranger, audio engineer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist, Mayer Hawthorne will be bringing his talents to the last day of WAKE UP CALL. He has over 100 million plays on YouTube, Soundcloud and Spotify. His album “How Do You Do” earned him a Grammy nomination in 2014.
The singing/songwriting duo, Nico & Vinz will also hit the stage Sunday for the final day of the festival. Their 2014 song “Am I Wrong” has almost hit Double Platinum in the US. The music video has more than 60 million views on YouTube and has hit No. 1 on Shazam’s Top 100 Worldwide for two months. Nico & Vinz’s single has peaked at No. 2 on iTunes Pop Chart and was in the top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100.
