David Blake, known by his stage name DJ Quik, is an American hip hop recording artist, DJ and producer. He released his debut album “Quik is the Name” in 1991. The album earned platinum status and featured two Top 20 R&B hits “Tonite” and “Born and Raised in Compton.” His second album “Way 2 Funky” was released the following year, earning gold status. His third studio release, “Safe + Sound,” debuted in 1995, making it to No. 14 on the Billboard 200 and producing singles, “Dollaz & Sense” and “Safe + Sound.” Today, DJ Quik has released a total of nine studio albums. Adrian Lux, a Grammy-nominated DJ and producer, began his professional music career as one of the leading hip-hop and reggae DJs in Stockholm. He then began moving toward his current electronic music style and in 2010, he released his first single, “Strawberry.” That same year, he released his most popular hit to date, “Teenage Crime,” which was certified Platinum in Australia.
