Corey Woods, better known as Raekwon, recently announced “The Wild Tour” that will hit 40 cities kicking off June 2 at The Governor’s Ball with Wu-Tang in New York. The tour celebrates his critically acclaimed independent album “The Wild” released earlier this year. Raekwon is credited as a pioneer of Mafioso rap, a subgenre of hardcore hip hop. Raekwon was formerly a member of Wu-Tang Clan, a hip hop group that produced seven studio albums during their time together. The album, “Wu-Tang Forever” was certified four times platinum by the RIAA. Vanilla Spice @ Blue Martini

Vanilla Spice, a locally-based 90’s hip hop cover band, will perform at Blue Martini in Phoenix as part of “True Blue Ladies Night,” which features half price drinks for ladies all night and $5 Tito’s cocktails for all guests. The band will perform at Blue Martini from 8 to 11 p.m. every Wednesday, all summer long.

The two gained national superstardom after appearing on America’s Got Talent, even performing for President Obama at the White House in 2007. His unique style, which blends classical music with jazz, pop, R&B and hip-hop has propelled the solo career he began in 2012.
